Integrative Counselling
About me
Sara Todd Integrative Counselling
MA, Incl Arts; BACP Accredited Diploma in Integrative, Humanistic Counselling, MBACP
My aim is to offer a safe space and inclusive space for you to explore and talk about what's going on for you.
When you come to a session you are free to speak whatever's on your mind. Seemingly unrelated and unimportant experiences can turn out to be key elements of self-discovery.
In my practice I use Transactional Analysis, Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, CBT and Humanistic Integrative Therapy, as well as optional art and drawing to offer a personalised approach to healing.
My practice is inclusive of ethnically diverse/Global Majority clients and is LGBTQIA+ affirmative.
I am experienced and trained in counselling clients with disabilities, neurodivergence and sensory impairment. My practice is trauma informed.
My pronouns are she/her.
Over the years I have counselled people from all walks of life: musicians, students, administrators, artists, drivers, educators and those in the caring professions including fellow counsellors.
I specialise in transforming the difficulties people face by looking at what is going on in the now and - if helpful - how early life may have influenced that. I have 15 years experience and can offer a range of safe, verified techniques to assist in your healing. In my practice I use Attachment Theory, Transactional Analysis, Internal Family Systems, CBT and Humanistic Integrative Therapy, as well as optional art and drawing to offer a personalised approach to your sessions.
Alongside my work as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I have a background in the Arts and Music. My approach is integrative and I collaborate with you to find the best way of working. When not at the clinic, I work therapeutically with the arts outdoors for the charity Sensing Friends, supporting young people with sensory impairment and young adult refugees.
